OUR CONSULTATION PROCESS
All of our consultancy engagements start with at least one free consultation session to make sure we understand your business and your needs thoroughly. We view a consultancy as a true partnership with long term strategic objectives and there is no value to either side if we are not a good fit. If after the free consultations both sides agree that a consultancy package makes sense, we will follow up with a scope of work with predefined packages and listed outcomes so you know exactly what we are working on, with what member from our team, for how long, and to what end.

ANALYSIS
Most consultancy focuses purely on digging up data or comparing against market standards. At River Consultancy Group, we believe that your situation and scenario is unique, so for us analysis isn’t just about the data pulled, but what story it is telling us. We start by looking at the information collected from our initial discovery sessions and by reviewing similar data available from others in your market, and then we make sure any reports delivered explain why there are outliers and if they are a positive or negative for your business.
ADVISORY
After we have completed any necessary analysis, we reach the advisory stage of our engagement. We prefer to deliver our advisory using a modern coaching style that focuses on helping you understand what needs to be done and building solutions together. There are plenty of firms out there that can give you solid advice based on data but often their recommendation is to hire them for more work packages to see results. We want to enable and empower your team to get the results you are looking for.
ACTION
Great advisory will show your team what it needs to do in order to get where you want to go, but that doesn’t mean you have to do it alone. We want to ensure your long term success and make sure the work we do has lasting value. This often means that once we have a mutually agreed upon action plan, we will either stick around to help you do the work, or we will connect you with our amazing partner network to ensure you have all the right services and tools.
